A. V. :
As opposed to a finality of fixifity
that the traditional exhibitionary format
may work towars there was an overriding
sense of temporality
- as if the artist, curator and audience
were guests and the gallery was a host,
a host to a conversation and practice
that had no specific walls or boundaries,
no beginning or end and that was destined
to continue in other forms in other places.
I. A. :
The aim is not the total, self - sufficient
and concluded experience suggested by the usual "retrospective". This is not a retrospective.
Maybe, could be better called an "introspective", interested in the complex throught which
a characther - in this istance Roberto Annecchini - moves, changes, takes directions.
